At Hook, from Sheldons Road, continue up the passageway (40m), ahead L of drives and over the road to the next passageway. Keep on over a residential road and down to the through-road (300m). Turn L.

As the road curves L (50m) cross to the trees and turn R on the diverging footpath soon next to fields (150m). Carry on, curving L, L, R, past the bowling green car park (300m) and round the L bend, behind a row of houses to the next hedge corner (200m).

Turn R. Cross the footbridges to the field and carry on R of the hedge (200m). Cross the farm drive and continue, now L of the hedge, round a slight bend to a track (400m). Stay ahead over the boardwalk (40m) and across the field to the hedge bend (200m). Keep on L of the hedge then between gardens to the road at Newnham (250m).

Cut across the green 1/2L to the road junction (70m) and walk along Newnham Lane (600m).

Just before the end of the wood, near the bottom of the slope, take the broad cart track R (500m). At a R, L dog-leg continue on the path to the trees at Tylney Park golf course (550m). Keep to the public footpath over golfers' tracks to the road with a house R (350m). After the second drive, diverge L over a crosspath (250m) to a field (150m). Follow the R edge towards the farm (300m). Turn L round the corner (80m) then R across the small field to the gap in the hedge opposite (80m). In the large field turn R to the farm drive (80m).

Walk up the drive (550m). Turn R at the road (80m)., Just past the house, enter the field R and go up the L edge (400m), L into the next field and on to the road (300m). Cross to the track and diverge R on the side path over the field down to the church and village (200m).

From Rotherwick Church go L down the road, past the Coach & Horses to the first field R (250m). Turn R along the hedge and go straight on to the cross track in the trees near houses (650m), ahead over a stream and up ast the side path L (400m), round a slight bend and R of the wood (300m).

Carry on at the L edge of the wood (170m), beside the next field, R of the wood into the next field (220m) and down the edge (150m). Go on into the trees, over the footbridges (100m) and up between gardens to the through-road (100m). Retrace your steps through the passageway back to Sheldons Road.
