About Glen Park Neighborhood History

The Glen Park Neighborhoods History Project covers the histories of Glen Park, Glen Canyon Park, Sunnyside, Fairmount, and Diamond Heights, located in the heart of San Francisco. Home of the first dynamite factory in America personally licensed by inventor Alfred Nobel, residents who co-led the first march for woman's suffrage in America in 1908, and the famous Glen Park Gum Tree Girls.
